How to join with a PIN and evaluate wines.
If you received a PIN, you can join on your own phone. After entry, the app asks for a display name and offers an optional email field for beta communications.
Join with a PIN
The organizer shares a four digit PIN. Enter that PIN in BlindRank to join the correct tasting.
If you are at the same table, you can also join with the QR code.

Evaluate wines
The screen shows the wines that need evaluation. Depending on the organizer's setup, you will give scores or order wines by preference.
- In score mode, evaluate each wine on the indicated scale.
- In ranking mode, order wines from highest to lowest preference.
If a wine is flawed, you can mark it as flawed instead of evaluating it normally.
Blind tasting
In blind tastings, you evaluate the wines by number. The goal is to reduce label bias during evaluation.
Depending on the setup, you may see the theme and the list of labels. The glass to label mapping stays for the end.
Send evaluation
Review your responses before sending. After submission, the organizer can see that your evaluation is complete.
If you closed the browser before finishing, enter the PIN again and complete the evaluation while the tasting is open.
Result
When everyone finishes, BlindRank consolidates the evaluations and forms the group ranking. The organizer chooses when to reveal the labels.
The group result does not replace individual perception. It shows how the table evaluated those wines in that tasting.
